Life Transitions

Navigating change with clarity and support

Major life changes - career shifts, relationship endings, becoming a parent, relocating, losing someone, or simply arriving at a point where the life you have built no longer fits - can leave you feeling uncertain, unmoored, or unlike yourself. Even changes you chose, or longed for, can bring unexpected grief, anxiety, or a loss of direction.

Transitions ask something of us that everyday life does not: they require us to let go of one version of ourselves before the next one is clear. That in-between space can be genuinely disorienting. Therapy can help you move through it with more awareness, more steadiness, and a clearer sense of what you are moving toward.

Is therapy right for you?

You might benefit from support during a life transition if you:

  • Feel uncertain, anxious, or stuck in the face of change

  • Are grieving a loss - of a relationship, a role, an identity, or a chapter of life

  • Notice old patterns of self-doubt or fear resurfacing at a moment of change

  • Want space to reflect on who you are becoming, not just what to do next

How we work together

We explore both the practical and emotional dimensions of your transition. Using an IFS-trained approach, we pay attention to the parts of you that feel anxious, resistant, or uncertain about change — and to the parts that are ready to move forward. Giving each of them space tends to make the path clearer.

I draw on my integrative training and my own experience of significant life transitions, including career changes, relocation, and starting over. I understand this territory from the inside as well as the clinical.
