Anxiety & Low Mood

Finding calm, clarity, and emotional balance

Living with anxiety or low mood can be exhausting. You might find yourself caught in cycles of worry, struggling to feel motivated, or carrying a persistent sense that something is wrong — even when you cannot quite name what it is. Sometimes it shows up as tension in the body, irritability, or a feeling of being constantly on edge. Sometimes it is quieter than that: a flatness, a disconnection, a sense of going through the motions.

Whatever form it takes, anxiety and low mood are not character flaws or signs of weakness. They are often the result of parts of you working hard to protect you from something — and therapy can help you understand what that something is.

Is therapy right for you?

You might benefit from support if you:

  • Experience persistent worry, panic, or a sense of dread

  • Feel low, flat, or demotivated more often than you would like

  • Struggle with self-criticism or an inner voice that is hard on you

  • Want to understand the deeper patterns beneath your feelings, not just manage them

How we work together

We explore what is driving your anxiety or low mood - including past experiences, relational patterns, and the parts of you holding fear or pain. Using an IFS-informed approach, we work with these parts rather than against them, helping them feel understood and gradually less burdened.

I draw on my wider integrative training to tailor sessions to you, incorporating imagery, somatic awareness, or reflection exercises where helpful. The pace is yours.
